How bodi began.
From a frustrated new mum to the best natural deodorant we've ever smelled — here's how it happened.
Early 2024
It started with a baby
Breastfeeding our newborn daughter, we realised how many mystery chemicals and aluminium were being swiped right next to her face with traditional deodorants. The naturals we tried didn't smell great, feel good, or work well. So we decided to make our own.
May 2024
The kitchen table
We sourced the best ingredients available based on the world's best deodorants, and started mixing batches at our kitchen table. We were chasing a deodorant that smells incredible, feels lovely, and actually lasts.

We went deep finding everything wrong with the natural deodorants on the market. White marks, stains, weak protection, that sandpaper feel... and worked on fixing each flaw, batch by batch. 39 was the one.

Built to last
Being refillable with no single-use plastic was a non-negotiable. Sourcing our soft-touch recycled-plastic case was key - we'd keep it for life and use biodegradable refills.

Is it actually aluminium-free?
100%. No aluminium chlorohydrate, no aluminium zirconium — nothing that blocks your pores. Zinc Ricinoleate and Triethyl Citrate neutralise odour at the source instead. It works differently, and it works better.

Will it irritate my sensitive skin?
Bodi is formulated without baking soda — the most common cause of underarm irritation from natural deodorant. Magnesium hydroxide does the same pH-balancing job, gently. No rash, no sting.
How does the refill system work?
Your case is a soft-touch recycled-plastic shell made to last for years. The deodorant comes as a compostable refill pod — pop it in, twist to lock, and swipe. When it's done, the pod biodegrades. No single-use plastic, ever.
